TPD Ultrasonic Pulp Concentration Meter

TPD Ultrasonic Pulp Concentration Meter is an online monitoring instrument designed for concentration monitoring in processes such as beneficiation, coal washing, metallurgy, papermaking, and sludge treatment. It can monitor the concentration change from 0.2% to 80%, and provide reliable input for the automatic control of the process. At present, this product has been successfully applied in the automatic control and monitoring in many fields mentioned above.

The sensor sends a beam of ultrasonic pulses to the measured substance. When the ultrasonic wave passes through the slurry, the ultrasonic energy will be attenuated due to the scattering and absorption of the slurry. The attenuation of the ultrasonic wave in the slurry is related to the concentration of the slurry in the liquid. The attenuation value of the ultrasonic wave can calculate the slurry concentration. Different types of slurry have different attenuation characteristics for ultrasonic waves. By adjusting the distance between sensors and the frequency of operation, they can be used to measure various media.
