Classical ultrasonic echo analysis. The ultrasonic transducer sends out an ultrasonic pulse and is reflected back when it encounters the surface of the measured medium. The reflected echo is received by the same transducer and converted into an electrical signal. Ultrasonic pulses propagate at the speed of sound waves, and the time interval from the transmission of ultrasonic waves to the reception of echoes is proportional to the distance from the transducer to the surface of the measured medium. So by measuring and analyzing the time difference of the ultrasonic signal returned from the liquid surface, the distance from the sensor to the liquid surface can be calculated.

Because the transmitted ultrasonic pulse has a certain width, the reflected wave and the transmitted wave in a small area close to the transducer overlap, which cannot be identified and the distance value cannot be measured. This area is called the measurement dead zone. We adopt the technology of intelligent adjustment of the transmission pulse width, and automatically adjust the transmission pulse width according to the received signal strength of the reflected wave, so that the measurement dead zone can be adjusted, so that the instrument can work in a smaller dead zone.
