The residual chlorine electrode is a Clark-type current sensor, which is manufactured using microelectronic technology and is used to measure the concentration of hypochlorous acid (HOCl) in water. This sensor consists of three small electrochemical-type electrodes, one working electrode (WE), one counter electrode (CE) and one reference electrode (RE). The method for measuring the concentration of hypochlorous acid (HOCl) in water is based on measuring the current generated by the working electrode due to changes in the concentration of hypochlorous acid. The working electrode WE separates the electrode surface from the analysis solution by photopolymerizing a special organic film. The temperature sensor is integrated inside the sensor for temperature compensation, which improves the reliability of temperature measurement results.

    Residual chlorine sensor measurement conditions: The sensor must be used in agitated solutions (measurement accuracy is not high at this time) or in water flowing through the pipeline system. Insufficient hydration time or power on before contacting the solution will affect the sensor's measured value.
